 ‘Overture’ is a collection of Drypoint Prints; looking through a muddy lens of human behaviours, environmental and ethical issues. Using line and traditional drawing techniques on a plate matrix to narrate classic and age-old issues in a new world.

Karen Daye-Hutchinson ARE ARUA An elected member of both the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers London and The Royal Ulster Academy.  Karen studied Fine Art at both Belfast and Manchester. Specialising in Etching, hybrid printmaking, book art and sculpture; her work reflects an interest in habitat, architecture and literature. Her extensive exhibition list of solo and group exhibitions both national and international include Cannes, Germany, France, Luxembourg, America, Canada, Japan and India.

In 2018 she was invited to join the prestigious Prism Print international.  She was artist in residence at Empreinte Atelier De Gravure, Luxembourg in 2019 and was awarded the 2022 fellowship at Scuola International di Grafica, Venice from the RE, Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and the inaugural winner of the Anita Young Bursary at the RUA annual exhibition at the Ulster Museum.
